Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Black Belt training and certification provides you the expert hands-on training you need to apply DFSS method to all projects you lead or participate in.

 

This training will be based on Axiomatic Design as a design process over the ICOV phases (Identify, Characterize, Optimize and Verify) highlighted in Dr. Haik's books.?

In addition, you will learn about cultural issues of DFSS Black Belt and the influence on product development processes & ability to communicate between the different levels in your organization.  ?

 

At the end of this course you can obtain your DFSS Black Belt certification with an exam passing grade or a completion of a scoped project.?

 

Please bring a real-world project to class on the first day. This project concept is what you will work on during the course to apply the concepts of DFSS. The span of control of the concept should be in your area of responsibility in which you have intimate knowledge.

 

It is highly encouraged, though not a prerequisite, to complete a Green Belt course prior to enrollment.

 

We are assuming working knowledge with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
